As soon as the actual graduation date is set, you will want to be ready to put a deposit down to hold your spot. We recommend getting started early with WCE when forming committees as we offer some really unique fundraising opportunities, ideas, and options and can help you with the process. And the earlier you start planning, the more time you have to fundraise. [Do I need a deposit to reserve our party?](#) [*Expand*](#)$1,500.00, along with a signed contract, will hold the date and reserve your venue(s) and entertainment. [How should we determine the number of students who will attend the grad party?](#) [*Expand*](#)Usually, about one-half of the total graduating students will attend a grad party. Rural schools tend to have a higher attendance than innercity schools. You can also look at the attendance from previous years to give you an idea of how many might attend. [How many students do I need in attendance for a minimum guarantee on our contract?](#) [*Expand*](#)Usually, one half is a good rule of thumb. Rural schools tend to have a higher graduation party participation than city schools. Another good guideline is to look at what the attendance from previous years have been. [Do we need to obtain additional liability insurance?](#) [*Expand*](#)No. West Coast entertainment carries a one million dollar liability policy and all of the venues have additional insurance. [WIll someone from West Coast Entertainment come to one of our initial committee meetings to discuss venue options and answer questions?](#) [*Expand*](#)Absolutely. Just call to schedule a date and time and we will be there! [How many chaperones are required to attend the grad party?](#) [*Expand*](#)We require 6-8 chaperones for every 100 students attending. These chaperones will receive complimentary food and beverages throughout the event. You are not expected to staff any of the entertainment options. [Are meals included at every venue?](#) [*Expand*](#)Yes. There will be a selection of food choices available including: buffets, snacks, pizza, pop, coffee and more! [Are parents required to clean up after the event?](#) [*Expand*](#)Absolutely not! West Coast Entertainment takes care of everything. [If we have a casino as part of our entertainment, do the parents have to be the dealers?](#) [*Expand*](#)No. West Coast Entertainment will provide professionally attired and certified dealers at all mock casino events. [Can we add extra entertainment to our party package?](#) [*Expand*](#)Yes. You can add entertainment right up to the date of the event, depending of course, on availability. The sooner you know you want to add something, the more likely you are to get it. [Should we hire extra security or police officers for our event?](#) [*Expand*](#)No need. West Coast Entertainment events include security personnel at a ratio of one (1) to every 50 students — with a minimum of one female and one male security person at each party. [What support can we count on throughout the year from your company?](#) [*Expand*](#)Your event planner and coordinator will be working closely with you throughout the year to insure you have a successful event. ![group-at-graduation-party](https://www.gradparty.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/group-at-graduation-party.jpg "group-at-graduation-party")## Get in Touch --- ### [Commitment To You](https://www.gradparty.com/commitment-to-you/) **Published:** July 14, 2020 **Author:** emily **Content:** # Commitment To You ![arrow-down](https://www.gradparty.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/arrow-down.png "arrow-down")# Since 1978 West Coast has been committed to you! So easy to work with and right there with us every step of the way!” **-Anacortes High School** --- “Words cannot extress our gratitude to you and your staff for the very ‘special’ party we enjoyed. The food was great and the graduates felt they were treated to an exceptionally good time. Everyone was safe. They had sober fun together!” **-Wapato High School** --- “I can’t thank the staff enough for the way they dealt with our students. They were always available, very accommodating, aaware of what the students were doing — the students never felt any pressure. I particularly applaud your staff’s professional manner.” **-Bothell High School** --- “It was without question the best high school event that I have been associated with over 20 years. The ship was immaculate… the tables tastefully decorated… the menu was just right… and the service was excellent! I want to thank all the people involved in making our night one to remember for me and for all the students at Federal Way High.” **-Federal Way High School** --- ## The Best Entertainment You Won’t Find Anywhere Else!
